After completing a three-year degree in public relations at Bournemouth University, Alex worked on digital PR projects for consumer agency Lineup Media. Here he developed a number of campaigns for international clients, helping to secure the agency its first Fresh Award for digital marketing.
Following this, Alex spent a year working as a freelance graphic designer and web developer before moving to 3 monkeys PR in central London. He now works as anSenior Account Manager at Wildfire, an award-winning tech PR agency in Kingston-Upon-Thames.
Outside of work, Alex regularly writes about technology and PR. In 2016 he launched his first book, Technoutopia, which focuses on the impact of technology upon culture and the media. In addition to his public relations role, Alex is also part-time editor of the misanthropic blogging site half-empty.net.
